I have been a patient of Dr. Wise for several years. I have always found my appointments to be professional, on-time and efficient. Today, I came in for my annual and immediately after was my teenage daughter's exam. Dr. Wise picked up on some concerns I had about my daughter's lack of energy and that I wanted to have her blood drawn to test hormones, thyroid, etc. We talked about gut health and diet, etc. Dr. Wise listened and validated my concerns. She even said, 'sometimes a mother knows' Wow! It felt so good to be heard. I did not feel rushed and felt she really listened and cared. This felt so comforting to me. My daughter's biggest phobia is having her blood drawn. Seriously a HUGE phobia. I stepped out and waited in the reception. Within 10 minutes I was called back in and Dr. Wise told me she agreed to have her blood drawn. I almost fell over. Really?? Not fully believing my daughter would go through with it, Dr. Wise sat with my daughter and consoled her. Done!
