My mother recently went for a second opinion on her knee, and I am deeply grateful for his exceptional care. Throughout the years, my mother has often felt frustrated by doctors who didn’t listen or answer her questions. This visit was different. Dr. Homan saw my mother not just as another elder patient, but as the matriarch of our family—a mother, grandmother, and a pillar in her community.His approach exemplifies the transformative impact a caring physician can have not just on the patient but also on the family that surrounds them. Dr. Homan went beyond treating symptoms; he treated my mother with dignity and respect, acknowledging her current pain and providing hope along with a plan for treatment and healing.
