I was seriously ill when I arrived after midnight via EMS to a very busy emergency room. Dr. Hiles was working. He evaluated me professionally, as swiftly as was reasonable under the circumstances, ordered every appropriate test and medical intervention, and he explained his procedures, his findings and his medical decisions, which were lifesaving, clearly and with dispatch. I could not have received emergency care.
