I was recently transported from Helena to Great Falls Benefis Hospital for severe kidney pain due to kidney stones. I was looking at having to have surgery and was very scared because I do not do well with anesthesia or medications. Dr Hill was the anesthesiologist and I can honestly say I have never in my life had such a great anesthesiologist. He asked me lots of questions and listened as I answered. I had questions of concern that he answered very thoroughly. We determine together that it was best to postpone the surgery as the urologist said 90% of people with this size of stone pass them though painful. He was honest enough to tell me the concerns he had due to my reactions with anesthesia. If this were an emergency it would be different but this was something that could be postponed. The stones were passed over the next couple days. I just have that gut feeling that Dr Hill spared me from further health setbacks. I thank God for Dr Hill. I would recommend him to everyone.
