So, Dr. Tatsuno was recommended by my PCP Dr. Otsuka in Hilo because I had experienced breathing issues and am considered high risk due to smoking. Although, I’m embarrassed to admit my own behaviors regarding tobacco use is the cause of my illness, alas it surely is the truth. My first visit with Dr. Tatsuno was in the Hilo office through an online visit. So, the first visit was becoming acquainted, establishing a strong Dr./Patient rapport. In addition, Dr Tatsuno ordered all pertinent lung function tests, CT scan and labs. Moreover, Dr called me personally with reports. Although, the diagnosis was not great, and prognosis fair Dr. Tatsuno accepting me as his patient meant care and hope. Furthermore, after meeting Dr. Tatsuno in person on my second visit, I’m confident going forward together with a plan of action regarding treatment options. I have faith and trust in Dr. Tatsuno, his interest and encouragement in a pro active approach to my own healthcare is remarkable.
