Patient Reviews
Mar 17, 2021
Dr. McCray is a kind, thorough, and patient man. He doesn’t rush through an exam and explains his actions and reasoning. He doesn’t order unnecessary tests and procedures and really listens to me, answering all of my questions and if he doesn’t have the answer, he will research and find it. I believe that he genuinely cares about his patients. Getting an appointment to see him, even follow ups are not easy, but I’ve found this to be the case with the world class doctors at Johns Hopkins, especially the department of Neurology, which is considered a Center of Excellence. The hospital is not nearby for me, but I consider the distance well worth my time to be a patient of this highly skilled neurologist.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
