After 8 days I thought I was on the road to recovery when my Covid symptoms took another turn and began intensifying. I went to the ER as I was worried about my oxygen levels, and they confirmed I had some pneumonia due to Covid. Dr. Barkley was patient and listened to my concerns. He prescribed medications to stop my immune system from overreacting. These are medications recommended as both a preventative treatment and a therapy to use while fighting Covid. My fever ended over the next 24 hours and my oxygen started improving. I am grateful for a doctor who listened to my concerns and acted to help me recover.
