Patient Reviews
Jul 27, 2024
Doctor Barash was very patient with me and my family. I was on a handful of meds and over time and with his insistence that I stay sober, I am down to one medication and it is working great. I asked the doc why he has good and bad reviews. He calmly said that in general, happy psych patients don't like to put their name out there. He said unhappy patients who get admitted involuntarily to the hospital because they are unsafe are rarely happy with their care, nor are patients seeking medications that they don't get. It makes sense that they would be ticked off but it is a tough situation for everyone.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
