How likely are you to recommend Dr. Parrett?
Dr. Parrett is fantastic; I had a terribly painful plantar neuroma; completely disabling, which he removed with a much safer dorsal approach to avoid a long incision on the bottom of the foot which two other surgeons had recommended. Scars on the bottom of the foot can be painful; sometimes for life. My scar is nearly invisible and the neuroma is 100 times better after years of conservative treatment failed and even made it much worse after being fitted for an expensive and poorly designed orthotic by a podiatrist in Marin. Top marks for bedside manner and attention to detail. Dr. Parrett is the kind of doctor who will call you back at all hours. I know, he saw a child who had surgery by him for a cancer (successfully) and of course the parents were terribly worried about her after the surgery. He saw them on a weekend at short notice; that is a rare display of concern for his patients which is hard to find these days.
