I accompanied my daughter, who was still having erratic high blood pressures after a preeclampsia pregnancy. Many tests were ordered, then Dr. Beer asked lots of questions and listened closely to her answers. He explained the test results in language we could understand, then more questions back and forth as he formulated a treatment plan, teaching and explaining every step of the way. We were much reassured by the time we left, feeling back in control after what was a scary situation for us. His competence and caring manner shined, and we never felt he was rushing or “had one foot out the door.”
