An absolute delight to partner with, this man has no inflated ego, displays no condescending, know-it-all traits, and no “this is how it’s done” assembly line, volume-focussed mentality that is often present in free-standing surgical centers & hospital GI labs these days. As a malignant hypothermia survivor, and one who experiences long-term cognitive impairment >3 months following the use of Ketamine, Propofol, and the like, experience has taught me to avoid sedation & anaesthesia. Dr. Nimer is very patient-specific focussed, found what worked for MY WHOLE being, not merely the patent, quick-fix that shows no regard as to the after-effects to the patient’s body or mind. A spinal block sans Fentanyl was our agreed upon mutual comfort zone: my gynaecological surgery would be pain-free, yet I would remain fully cognisant. Legs in stirrups whilst my gyno did his shtick, Dr. N & I had flowing conversation, I was able to view what was taken from me, and had a perfect 5-star experience.
