Recently, I had a septoplasty done by Dr. Jewett. I initially went to a different otolaryngologist, but they told me they didn't feel comfortable doing the surgery, as my septum deviation was pretty severe. Since they couldn't do it, they referred me to Dr. Jewett out at UNC in Chapel Hill. It was a bit of a drive, but my entire experience with Dr. Jewett was awesome. I knew there were some risks associated with the surgery and I sincerely appreciated the fact that he ensured I was well aware of the risks before getting the surgery. He seemed confident though and ultimately the entire procedure went great. I barely had any pain after the surgery and I basically have a Tulsa wind blowing through both of my nostrils now lol. He also gives some good food recommendations if you're not from the area lol! I definitely recommend Dr. Jewett.
