Dr. Brian Heimer is one of the best doctors in the country. When my husband was 81 his previous cardiologist gave up on him for any further treatment. Dr. Heimer suggested we needed a second opinion. Dr. Heimer treated my husbands ailing heart until we got in with another cardiologist. My husband had a new aortic heart valve implanted in 2013 and last August celebrated his 92nd birthday. My husband is in excellent health, is active, and has a exercise routine with 5 pound weights that he practices every day. All this is thanks to a concerned and caring doctor who said, "I think you need a second opinion." By the way, he has made changes in his office that has reduced the wait time to around 15 minutes unless he has an emergency situation. Personally I would wait hours for Dr. Brian Heimer before I'd see a different doctor.
