Patient Reviews
Mar 28, 2024
I had severe complex coronary artery disease over 90%occlusion. Many doctors recommended open heart surgery which I was not in favor of because of the extensive surgery and recovery period.I consulted with Dr. Smith who took the time to review all my records ,explain the different scenarios that he could encounter and how he would treat them . He showed me the actual catheterizations and where the blockages were and explained that I had calcifications which would make the procedure more difficult. Two large stents were successfully placed with zero occlusion where the stents were placed. I feel much better both physically and mentally. I have resumed all normal activities and all my vital signs blood pressure ,heart rate ,respirations and oxygen levels have improved. I have no chest pain whatsoeverI have started cardiac rehab, making progress during each visit. Thanks to Dr. Smith and his team , I avoided open heart surgery and walked out of the hospital the next day.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
