I have had 23 years worth of neurologists. All have seemed to be identical to each other. I finally got to the point of starting palliative care and refusing MRIs because I have never personally benefited from the MRIs. Each neurologist just briefly reviewed the results in a VERY general sense, then continued to prescribe the same weekly injection which caused flu symptoms for two days every week. Then more MRIs a year later ($900 out of my pocket after insurance) followed by the exact same yearly visit lasting 10-20 minutes with identical results of continuing the medication. I drove to Minnesota to see Dr Conway one time and my whole life is different now. I now get 7 days a week to actually live life because the new medication gives me no side effects at all. She listened more than 23 years of numerous neurology visits combined. She specifically showed me lesions that explained why I’m having the symptoms I have. I finally benefited from doing the MRIs!! Thank God for Dr Conway!!
