Thanks to Dr. Dix, I am no longer walking on a broken foot, I am getting the help I need to manage my autoimmune disease, and I have lost 30 lbs! Dr. Dix found stress fractures in my foot, which my GP had missed. When I complained to Dr. Dix about swelling in my legs, and unexplained weight gain, and muscle aches, she saw the signs of an autoimmune disease. Everyone else told me to eat less and exercise more (I was running 35 miles/week and eating less than 1,400 cal/day!) Above and beyond!
