Dr. May was the on-call doctor the weekend after my daughter's tonsillectomy. We experienced a minor issue and then a more serious complication. Dr. May was the most patient doctor who did not rush me off the phone. He took time to reassure me and answer every question patiently and thoroughly. When we had a more serious complication, he coordinated with the ER staff here, since my daughter was an out-of-town patient and we live 4 hours away, and made sure we had top level care. He then took time to follow up with me the next day to check in on my daughter. As a mom, I cannot express how much this meant. Can I also mention that he was the on-call doctor? He treated our situation like my daughter was a long time patient. The medical field needs more doctors of this caliber. Dr. May, thank you for everything.
