I have been going to Dr. Akright for about 3 years. Until recently, I had only been going to him for routine wellness issues, such as PAP tests and breast exams. I always found him to have a great bedside manner and he gave excellent explanations about everything. He never rushed through my appointment and always made sure that all my questions were answered. Today, however, he preformed surgery on me. He displayed the same care and concern and gave easy to understand explanations of the procedure. I felt completely at ease. The surgery was uneventful and I am having a very easy recovery, after returning home. As a retired nurse myself, I would highly recommend Dr. Akright.
