Patient Reviews

I fell and shattered my wrist when Dr. Ziran was at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He did the operation and when I woke up I was surprised to see all the screws, pins, rods it took to put it together. I did a lot of pistol shooting at the sportsman club and I figured that part of my life was over. To my surprise, that wrist has never bothered me and I am 85 years old now.PS Dr. Z used to rate how good the wound sites were taking care of. The orthopedic nurses showed my wife, who is also a nurse, how to clean and take care of the sites. When he looked at my wrist he said 'impeccable', that thrilled my wife and the nursing staff. thank you again Dr. Z for the fine job you did.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
