Dr. Chozick's office listened to me and got me in to see the doctor within 8days of my call. I was on steroids for 5 weeks before my appt. Dr Chozick gave me a refill for the last week before he could do surgery. I could not walk without pain and bent over without the oral steroids. I brought him my cd of MRI done late April and I saw him June 28 with surgery July 5. He performed laminectomy on Lumber 2 through Sac 1, diskectomy Lumber 5 and Sac 1. I did not need fusion. I was immediately out of pain in my lower back and back of my legs. A miracle, had this pain 20 years on and off. He gave me his cell and he DOES answer it on the first ring. I've seen a few bad posts and DO NOT believe them at all. He is so compassionate and caring of his patients. How he was so sure I would be relieved of all pain from the last 20 years I don't know but he was VERY confident and he was 100% spot on!!!! He definitely know how the spine works. I can't recommend him enough!!!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
