Dr. Lesniak was recommended by my physical therapist after a knee injury. Surgery was inevitable and, in order to keep knee replacements in my distant future, I chose to have a meniscus root repair. That's 6 tough weeks on crutches and 6 months to heal with plenty of PT. I subsequently injured my other knee and had another repair and partial meniscectomy. Dr. Lesniak and his staff were available to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed during an appointment or without information to guide me during my recovery. He and his staff helped to expedite evaluative procedures which saved me from making additional trips to the office. He's at the UPMC Freddie Fu Sports Complex for a reason.
