As a nurse, being on the receiving end of medical care is humbling- and scary as a parent. I thought it would be a one time appointment that had turned in months and including a surgery, procedures with anesthesia, and a hospitalization. She, hands down, is the most compassionate, driven, and knowledgeable physician I have ever encountered (professionally or as a patient). When I was crumbling and didn’t know what was next- she made me feel like my child was her only patient and top priority (including a call on a holiday morning). Now that we are moving out of state- I am devastated to leave Dr Fiorillo and her wonderful staff. I couldn’t imagine having more confidence that my child received the best care possible with no stone left unturned.
