I have been dealing with Endometriosis since I was roughly 12. Been through my fair share of OBGYNs good and bad.Spivey is AMAZING in every single sense of the word. I had a flash of PTSD hit me right before my annual check and was on the verge of a panic attack. She noticed it immediately and put a full stop on everything, handed me tissues and held my hand, doing everything in her power to calm me. She talked me down and was so understanding of everything I shared with her. She made sure to know that we did not have to do the annual PAP today if I wasn't mentally okay with it. But after I was calm and my logic kicked in, I made the decision to go forward with the appointment.Her and her nurse walked me through everything and made me feel as comfortable as possible.She is also VERY LGBT friendly as I am in a lesbian marriage and we discussed pregnancy options, fertility checks, etc. She never once was judgmental or gave me any reason to be uncomfortable.
