Dr. Balog is an extraordinary pain management doctor who helped me through one of the most challenging periods of my life. After three ankle surgeries left me with entrapped nerves within scar tissue resulting in a nearly unbearable 24x7 chronic nerve pain, I became permanently disabled and unable to work. Dr. Balog explored every possible option—multiple spinal cord nerve stimulators (both DRG and SCS), targeted nerve injections, and carefully managed prescriptions—to give me relief and improve my quality of life. His care was compassionate, skillful, and deeply committed, and literally save my standard of life to what it is today. When I was preparing to move from Oregon to Arizona, Dr. Balog was honest and kind in telling me he had exhausted every tool he had, and encouraged me to seek further help with a new specialist. His integrity, dedication, and willingness to fight for my well-being made a lasting impact with me, and I am forever grateful for the care he provided to me.
