Dr. Rivera was one of the many doctors I frequently visited throughout my entire childhood from 7-17yrs old. Dr. Rivera always communicated with me on a level that I was able to understand. During my appointments, he would let me know ahead of each step of my evaluations what to expect. If i had an issue with any of the steps at any time, he would find other ways to proceed with the evaluations that were better suited for me. I remember would ask me to walk heel to toe in a straight line. He would then demonstrate what to do by pretending to walk an imaginary tight rope(while humming lol), fall, then ask if I could walk the line better and to show him how it's done. What I loved and remember most about Dr. Rivera was the Donald Duck voice he would use to talk with me. That voice, coming from that doctor, no matter what age I was, even at 17 yrs old, made me laugh, every time. Dr. Rivera was my favorite.He was the absolute best, as far as I'm concerned.-Hilary Hoyland-
