Dr. Heincelman has been my orthopedic oncologist- my surgeon, since a mass was found in my knee. She has walked me and my family through the process from initial tests and biopsies, cancer diagnosis, further tests, surgery to remove the mass and surrounding bone, and now recovery. Throughout everything, she has always been very professional, warm, patient, thoughtful, attentive, and informative. She's a great listener and very experienced. She personally visited my bedsides multiple times while I was in the hospital (which many surgeons don't do anymore), and all the nurses spoke highly of her. Thank you, Dr. H!
