Dr. Halpern did deep brain stimulation on my adult son, who has Dystonia and it was so successful that he now has a life again. He was handicapped by this for 27 years. He was not being able to sit at all, ride in a car or work and having to stand the entire day. The surgery was in 2017. Now he is back to a full life including working again. We are both very thankful for Dr. Halpern and the after care he got at Stanford.
