I saw him for pain management and when I needed a proceedure I saw Dr David Herrick who was also amazing. Without my knowledge or promission I was switched to new Dr and my suffering began. I was not allowed to even get a msg to Dr Herrick who was my original doctor. I stuck with new guy a full year before I had to switch to out of town doctor and that has been a hardship on getting to out of town appointment.If you are lucky enough to get Dr Long as your Dr you are in great hands. He is a rare breed now unfortunately. He is compassionate and very knowledgeable. He also saw my mother as a family doctor and was unbelievably kind and patient with her h at 85. She is now in bham hospital at 87 and today when I called her said 'we should have moved wherever Dr. Long has moved!' and she is correct! She is probably in her final days and thats who she rembbers! We wish Dr. Long and his family well wherever they go!
