Dr Coppola was the anesthesiologist assigned to my recent foot surgery. She visited me in advance of my procedure, telling me exactly what to expect, answering my questions and chatting with me socially setting me totally at ease. After expressing my concerns that previous general anesthesia had made me very nauseous upon waking, she advised me that yes, women often experience this. She had a remedy and applied a small patch behind my ear so that it would counteract any possible nausea. I woke from my procedure feeling relaxed but alert and brite. Not heavy, nauseous, drugged or exhausted as in previous experiences. I continued to feel great on the following days, with ZERO side effects! The lower leg block she administered lasted for nearly 2 days! I have had not one minute of discomfort or pain from my surgery and my foot is healing beautifully. Thank you Dr C for your expert care and TLC, Appreciate SO much!
