I was referred to Dr. Gilliland by my cardiologist from Emory, Dr. Cutchins.He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly effective.I went through major procedures with him and despite being scared, he kept me at ease and placed a stent on my iliac vein.The only problem I had was with a nurse who inserted a catheter over 1hr before my procedure, causing immediate blood loss, extreme pain and an UTI that lasted a month. I told Dr Gilliland and his anesthesiolosgist, and they were apologetic and indicated the nurse’s catheter procedure should not have taken place before anesthesia.Despite this, I would highly recommend Dr. gilliland as he’s giving me a chance at a better quality of life.
