I saw Dr. Herring because my own primary care doctor was not available.I was very concerned that I might be getting shingles and I needed to see someone right away. Dr. Herring was very professional and helpful. He asked me lots of questions and he gave me very thorough answers. He is one of the most intelligent doctors I have ever seen at New Hanover Medical group. And he made me feel that he really cares about the patient too, because I did not feel rushed at all. I’m very particular about my doctors and he met my high standards. As it turned out, Dr. Herring was absolutely right that I did not have shingles.
