I have been a patient of Dr. Simmons' for around 5 years. When I first met her, I was desperately wanting to wean off of a strong antidepressant medication. She helped me to gradually and safely reach this goal while teaching me to manage my symptoms with introspection, meditation, and other coping skills. Dr. Simmons is kind, patient, caring, and professional. Her style is more about tuning into the self, observing one's thoughts, and connecting to emotions in the body. She has many great recommendations for supportive resources as well. It has been a pleasure to be her patient!
