Before COVID, I had an umbilical hernia which needed to be fixed. I put it off because, who wants surgery. By the time I actually scheduled it, it had gotten pretty bad, and my surgery was cancelled due to COVID. Once it was rescheudled, it had gotten worse. My original surgeon was no longer practicing and I was referred to Dr. Paranjape. I could not have asked for things to go better. The pre-surgery consults went well. The staff was great. All questions were answered. The day of the surgery, everything went smooth. The nursing staff was great. Dr. Paranjape visited with me prior to the surgery, listened, answered questions I had, and even came back in when I remembered a question I forgot to ask.I was home a couple of hours later and had no pain whatsoever. Just a dull throb at times. I took the over-the-counter pain med as recommended and that was it. It has been a couple of years and everything is holding up well. My only regret is that I did not write a review sooner.
