I started shopping for a new dentist after my former dentist became more interested in selling me additional services that I didn’t want or need. Teeth whitening, mouth guards ($300), deep cleans and whatever else they were pushing that week. I was referred to Dr. Patel by another patient/friend. After my initial X-rays which he did not charge me for even though my previous dentist wouldn’t send my X-rays that were paid for 6 months prior, he explained that he personally wanted to make sure everything was fine. I was stunned. I have never had a medical or dental professional offer a service for free because it was the right thing to do. I had my cleaning which was thorough and painless. Later, Dr. Patel spent about 20 minutes with me explaining my different options without any pressure. This is where I realized how my prior dentist was just trying to scam me. I am beyond grateful that I finally have a dentist that I can trust and have moved my family to Kenmar Dental
