My wife brought me to the ER vomiting, with a fever and in great pain in my artificial hip. I am type 2 diabetic. After seeing the wound on my toe Dr. Chris figured out what was going on. I had an infection that had entered my blood stream and was attacking my artificial hip. He knew I needed surgery soon. He made many phone calls that day, to hospitals in the state, looking for a surgeon and an open bed. He was in constant communication with my wife on the status of the situation. I was very, very ill, in bad shape. He finally found a surgeon at a hospital 200 miles away. He saved my life. I will never forget him.
