While I unfortunately landed in the ER at UConn while experiencing endless heart arrhythmia issues, I was the most lucky to end up in Dr.picketts care. I originally had a different team that I wasn’t jiving with through a different hospital, and Dr Pickett swooped in like a hero and took over. He made me feel heard, and intelligent for researching my condition and understanding what was going on. His team was unbelievably kind and patient and funny. They were easy to contact during off hours, easy to make appts with last min, and Dr Pickett honestly changed my life by fixing my heart. Every nurse in the cath lab, the anesthesiologist, the other drs and rns..this whole team is a 10. And at the top is Dr.Pickett. One month post heart ablation I’m hula hooping and doing yoga and working again. I hope I never have to see him again lol. In that context. I hope I never need to be back, but if I ever EVER have a heart issue again, this is my Dr forever. You’d be lucky to work with him.
