We have been most fortunate to have had Dr. Failing as our son's doctor over the past two years, and we are so sad to see him leave Mott Children's Hospital! He diagnosed our son with Systemic JIA, and has been a trusted doctor and advocate for our son's health. He is personable, attentive to patients (and parents), and knowledgeable in his field. He stays up to date with current research and collaborates well with other physicians; he is proactive in asking questions and looking for answers. He responds to emails quickly, and often follows up with a phone call; he has been known to call between appointments, just to check in. He made a connection with my son, and we feel he genuinely cared about him and his health. I would not hesitate to recommend him!
