These past few months have been a roller coaster of emotions. My fiance was unable to walk and in severe pain for nearly a month. He would wake up and I would put him in his work chair and roll him to his office to work. The heart ache I felt for him was beyond anything that I can put into words. While the odds were against him after hearing he may not ever walk again due to the horrific accident he experienced in the military, he continued day by day to grit his teeth while not knowing what his future was going to offer. And then again went another 3 weeks of pain while waiting on the VA to get an appointment for a mylogram. We were then told it would take 6 - 8 months to even have a consult with a neurosurgeon (FYI he works even for the VA) not including the surgery that was desperately needed. A very close friend of ours referred us to a Neurosurgeon, Dr. Kobe aka Premier Neuro Spine Institute. Between his staff and himself they provided the care he needed without hesitation….
