A positive experience although the diagnosis was not something I wanted to hear (intermediate grade prostate cancer). Dr Lohr never pulled any punches, I heard the news just as it was, no sugar coating. Over the next several weeks, we candidly discussed many aspects of the disease and possible paths forward. He was supportive when I sought a second opinion from a radiologist. Ultimately I decided on external beam radiation with Brachytherapy rather than removal. Dr Lohr continues with my care in a follow up role. It's been over 5 years since the diagnosis.
