Dr. Kottra has been my diagnostic radiologist for 10 years. Initially, my dog found my breast cancer - she kept laying her head across my chest & whining - so I told her “ok, I’ll go”. I could not feel a lump and had no breast changes. I went for my first mammogram, which Dr. Kottra read, and decided to do a biopsy. I actually heard his assistants and techs ask him, “Are you really going to biopsy that little thing?” He answered “yes” and proceeded. He was very good about telling me everything he was doing during the procedure. And, he was correct to do the biopsy. I had breast cancer. I owe him (and my dog) my life. Now when I schedule my yearly mammogram, I always call to make sure Dr. Kottra will be the Diagnostic Radiologist reading my mammogram on the day I schedule. I trust him implicitly. This year I am 10 years cancer free! Thank you, Dr. Kottra!
