Dr. Morris treated me at the Wexford ER location when my Covid infection led to severe anxiety. Every ER doctor should be like Dr. Morris. He was informative, highly skilled, caring, attentive, thorough, and treated my issues with a sense of urgency. He was relatable and spoke to me as a friend who cares and never treated me as a “new case.” I shared with Dr. Morris that I use all my tools to manage anxiety but on this day, I needed to seek extra support and care to get through. Dr. Morris was encouraging of my ability to overcome and offered a sense of normalcy in the fact that I needed supportive care in a tough time. He even went as far to share his tip on using the warm hospital blankets to give a feeling of extra comfort and warmth by creating a cape and hood. The level of care was above and beyond what anyone would expect. I’m thankful that Dr. Morris was there the day I needed care. He gave me peace after all my testing showed I was OK and on the mend. I walked out of the hospital that day feeling positive and reassured of my healing. Dr. Morris has a bedside manner that offers you the comfort of home without being there. I appreciate him and AHN should be honored to employ Dr Morris knowing he is giving this level of care in their facility.
