Dr. Piel and the emergency room staff were amazing during my visit to the emergency room today when I was experiencing a cardiac event. He was extremely kind and reassuring and had excellent command of everything that was happening. He communicated very effectively and had such a comforting bedside manner. There appeared to be considerable mutual respect among the nurses, the paramedics and Dr. Piel. He also personally called my cardiologist before I was discharged to assist in making sure that I got a quick follow up appointment. I feel fortunate that Dr. Piel was the doctor that was available to help me when I arrived in the ER. He's fantastic!
