Patient Reviews
Jan 18, 2022
Dr. Morse is simply the best Thoracic Surgeon. He promised me no guarantees other than I would receive his absolute best effort. I was never told that by the other thoracic specialists I interviewed. Dr Morse performed a minimally invasive Esophagectomy in which the bottom six inches of my esophagus was removed along with the upper half of my stomach and adjacent lymph nodes and then reattached the remaining part of my esophagus to what was left of my stomach. I was out of MGH in seven days and back to work full time in less than a month. Five years later and cancer free I am chasing around two young grandchildren I would have never seen. I owe my life to this man and his staff at MGH. I strongly recommend this exceptional and extraordinary doctor.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
