Patient Reviews

As a black belt & high level competitor in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, when I completely tore my ACL, I turned to Dr Richards to get my knee back to 100% so I could return to competing. Dr Richards was very highly recommended to me by several people who are also in the medical field. Dr Richards was very professional and helpful, always responsive to emails. Recovery was about 9 months. When I was finally cleared to return to training, I told Dr Richards that I had a tournament I wanted to work towards. I only had two months to prepare for a major tournament & wasn’t sure if I would be ready in time after almost a year of absolutely no training. But Dr Richards encouraged me to try and did a follow up visit with me one month out from the tournament. During my fights, the ultimate stress test for my knee, I felt no pain, no weakness. Flexibility, stability & range of motion felt great. I highly recommend Dr Richards to anyone looking for a sports surgeon.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
