Today was my husband's first time seeing Dr. Uitvlugt. He is paralyzed and has a colostomy bag. Lately, he's been experiencing some uncomfortableness and pain in his stomach. There was a fear that there was potentially a blockage. The doctor spent a very lengthy time with my husband, examining him, talking with him, listening to him and then giving him a solid medical opinion. We both left feeling more knowledgeable about my husband's condition and that things could be resolved without surgery.
