Dr. Pierce was my gynecologist for 17 years before he retired. He was the most amazing Dr I've ever had, he done things the old way as far as having a microscope in his office to help with diagnosis. If you could tell him the symptoms you were having, he knew the problem without having to consult Google or a physician's desk reference. He believed in practicing medicine for the love of the patients not because of the love of a paycheck (although that was nice). He had an extraordinary bedside manner, every patient that saw him their names ended up being 'Dear Heart'. The day he told me that he was retiring he sat with me in his office while I cried for 20 minutes because I knew that I would never find another doctor like him. I truly missed that old man, he was not only my doctor but my friend. I pray that every woman has a Dr like Dr Pierce. He retired because his wife had Alzheimer's and she was getting worse, he said it was his job to take care of her.
