I was having an HSG test preformed by Dr. Dodds (male). Doc chatted it up the entire time, which really put me at ease. It's a normal day for him, but for the patient, the fear of the unknown can be a bit unnerving. I read entirely too much on the internet prior to my appt which lead me to believe this could be a painful test. Dr Dodds was very gentle and in combo with the 600 mg of ibuprofen I took prior (200mg - 3x, spread out 45mins apart), I had zero pain, slight discomfort. A++ experience
