Dr. Weissman has been treating me for just a few months, and has helped me make progress I never even knew was possible. I’ve been difficult to treat due to adverse reactions to medications that work well for millions of patients, but never for me. Dr. Weissman works in conjunction with my primary, my family psychiatrist, and an extensive treatment team of doctors at UCSD. Dr. Weissman has provided a safe space to discuss and successfully treat some of the most complex and sensitive issues imaginable. He listens, open-minded, flexible, and brings a wide variety of treatment options to the table. My mental health symptoms have improved and my hopes for permanent growth are giving me confidence in the medical community, in Dr. Weissman, and in myself!
