The provider was excellent. One thing I might suggest is that once a child is 15, 16 or so that questions and discussion be directed to them instead of the parent as a way of helping them transition to their own care appointments at age 18. It's great to make sure parents are included but over time this can reduce as a teen gets older so that the conversation is with the teen and the parent is only asked if they have any additional questions. This is not be right for every teen of course, so want and need more parental involvement, but if it's possible, start making the teen the main person in the room and think of the parent as a secondary person in the room to explain things too only if the teen is not engaging and asking their own questions.
