I have had lumbar and cervical surgery in the past 3 years. I have had a lumbar epidural about 3 1/2 years ago. It wasn’t even a week and the pain was back (severe stenosis). Fast forward to present, pain has been chronic and leg strength was getting to the point I had a hard time climbing a flight of stairs. My neurosurgeon recommended another lumbar surgery (different area) but would have to try physical therapy or epidural injection first (insurance rent). I made an appointment with Dr Foster and went thru with the shot. I was very hesitant doing this since the first one was so ineffective. Let me tell you, 3 months later and I am still reaping the benefits of the shot. I have been ecstatic! I know it has a time limit and the pain will start coming back. This experience with Dr Foster has changed my thoughts on epidural shots being so effective. Maybe it was just my personal issues but I am very happy with outcome. I will go back to him!
